How to play

  1. Press Start. A target appears somewhere in the play area.
  2. Tap or click it. The next target appears right away in a new spot.
  3. Hit all 20 targets. Taps that miss the target lower your accuracy.
  4. Your score is the average time per target. Lower is better.

About this game

Aim Trainer is a quick drill for moving and tapping at the same time. A round has twenty targets. Each one appears in a random spot inside the play area, always at least a little way from the last one, so you have to move every time. The clock for a target starts the moment it appears and stops the moment you press it.

At the end you see two numbers. The first is your average time per target in milliseconds. The second is your accuracy: how many of your taps landed on a target. Racing ahead and tapping wildly pulls accuracy down, so the best runs are fast and clean at the same time. Your best average is saved in this browser.

On a phone, hold the device steady and use one finger, or try both thumbs and see which feels better. With a mouse, keep your wrist relaxed and move from the elbow for longer jumps. Bigger screens mean longer jumps, so times are not comparable between a phone and a large monitor.

A short warm-up round helps. Many players find their second or third run is clearly faster than the first.

What this does not measure

This is a game, not a test of motor skills, eyesight, or reflexes, and it says nothing about health. Screen size, input device, and browser delay all change the result.
