How to play
- Press Start. A pile of blocks drops onto the board.
- Count all the blocks. Every block stands on the floor or on another block, so some are hidden underneath.
- Drag the pile to turn it and look behind it.
- Tap the number you think is right. There are ten rounds, and the piles grow as you go.
About this game
Block Count is a short counting game in three dimensions. Each round shows a small pile of cubes built on a square base. The question is always the same: how many cubes are there? The catch is that you cannot see all of them at once.
Nothing in a pile floats. Each cube rests on the floor or on another cube, so a stack three high always has two cubes under the top one, even if a taller stack in front hides them. Counting stack by stack, row by row, is usually more reliable than counting the faces you see.
You can drag the pile to turn it and peek at the back. The first rounds use a three by three base and short stacks; later rounds use wider bases and taller stacks. After a wrong answer, the right number is shown for a moment before the next pile drops.
Your score is the number of piles you count correctly out of ten, and your best score is saved in this browser.
What this does not measure
This is a game for fun. It is not an IQ test or a test of spatial or visual ability, and it is not a medical check of any kind. Screen size and angle make some piles easier than others.
