How to play
- Press Start. You have 30 seconds.
- Swipe up from the ball to throw it. A longer swipe throws harder; swiping to one side aims that way.
- Each basket scores 2 points. Three in a row puts you on fire: 3 points a basket until you miss.
- After a couple of baskets the hoop slides side to side, wider the more you score. Lead it a little.
About this game
Hoop Flick is a half-minute shooting game. The ball sits in front of you and the hoop waits ahead with a backboard. You throw by swiping up from the ball: how far you swipe sets how hard you throw, and swiping a little left or right sends the ball that way.
The ball flies in a real arc under gravity. A shot that drops cleanly through the middle of the rim counts. One that clips the rim gets knocked away, and one that hits the backboard bounces back off it and can still fall in, so a bank shot is fair game.
To keep it interesting, the hoop starts to slide side to side once you have made two baskets, and the slide gets wider as your score climbs. You have to throw a little ahead of it. Make three in a row and every basket is worth three points until you miss.
You can also aim with the turn buttons and power slider, or with the keyboard. Switching to another tab ends the round, and your best score is saved in this browser.
