How to play
- Press Start. The board is full of numbered tiles.
- Tap a tile that touches at least one tile with the same number, above, below, left, or right.
- The tapped tile goes up by one, the rest of its group disappears, and tiles fall to fill the gaps.
- The game ends when no two touching tiles match. Merging bigger groups and bigger numbers scores more.
About this game
Merge Numbers is a calm puzzle about building up. The board starts with ones, twos, and threes. Any tiles with the same number that touch side by side form a group, and tapping a group merges it: the tile you tap becomes one number higher, and the others in the group vanish.
Where you tap matters. The merged tile stays where your finger was, so you can steer bigger numbers toward each other. Tiles above the empty spaces fall down, and new small tiles drop in from the top, which can create new groups or break the ones you were saving.
Each merge scores the group's number times the number of tiles in it, so large groups of large numbers are worth the most. The game ends when there is no pair of matching neighbours left anywhere on the board.

What this does not measure
This is a puzzle game for fun. It is not an IQ test or a test of planning or math ability, and the falling tiles add luck to every game.
