How to play
- Press Start. Your ball sits on the tee; the cup has a flag.
- Pull back from the ball, like a slingshot, and let go to putt. A longer pull hits harder.
- Walls bounce the ball, sand slows it down, and water costs a stroke and puts the ball back.
- Sink the ball in each of the nine holes. Fewer strokes is better; each hole has a par.
About this game
Mini Golf is a short round of putting on nine small 3D holes. Each hole is a walled patch of grass with a tee and a cup. You aim by pulling back from the ball and letting go, the way you would pull a slingshot. The arrow shows where the ball will go and how hard.
The ball rolls, slows down on its own, and bounces off the walls, so banking a shot off a wall is often the quickest way round a corner. Sand patches slow the ball sharply. Water sends it back to where it was before the shot and adds a penalty stroke.
The cup only catches a ball that arrives gently. A ball that is still moving fast skims over the lip and keeps going, so the best putts die into the cup rather than slam into it. Every hole has a route from tee to cup that a test checks, and each has a par: the number of strokes a good round should take.
You can also aim with the turn buttons and the power slider, or with the keyboard. Your best total for all nine holes is saved in this browser.
