How to play
- Each row and column has a clue: the lengths of its runs of filled cells, in order.
- A clue of 3 1 means a run of three filled cells, at least one gap, then one filled cell.
- Tap cells to fill them. Switch to mark mode to put an X on cells you know are empty.
- When every row and column matches its clue, the puzzle is solved.
About this game
Mini Nonogram is a small picture logic puzzle. The grid is five by five. Next to each row and above each column is a list of numbers. Each number is a block of filled cells in that line, in order from left to right or top to bottom, with at least one empty cell between blocks. A 0 means the line is empty.
Every puzzle on this site is checked by a solver before you see it, and only puzzles with exactly one solution are used. That means you never need to guess: every cell can be worked out from the clues. Automated tests check hundreds of puzzles the same way.
Start with the big numbers. A 5 fills a whole line. A 4 in a line of five must cover the middle three cells, wherever it sits. A 3 must cover the middle cell. Then use the marks: once a line is complete, mark its empty cells, and the crossing lines get easier.

What this does not measure
This is a logic puzzle for fun, not an IQ test or any kind of assessment. Speed mostly comes from practice with the patterns.
