- The light turns on and casts the real shadow. Ten rounds; the shapes grow as you go.
About this game
Shadow Match asks a simple question about light: if a lamp shines on this shape, what dark patch will it leave behind? The shape is built from up to eight cubes on a three by three base, and some cubes may sit on top of others or stick out to the side.
When the light comes from the front, every cube darkens the square of the back wall directly behind it, at its own height, however far forward it stands. When the light comes from the right, every cube darkens the square of the left wall beside it in the same way. A cube hidden behind another adds nothing new, which is often the key to the answer.
The wrong pictures are close on purpose. One is often the mirror image of the right shadow, and others differ by a square or two. You can drag the stage a little to look from another angle before you choose. After you pick, the lamp turns on and the real shadow appears, so you can see where you went wrong.

What this does not measure
This is a game for fun. It is not an IQ test or a test of spatial ability, and your score says nothing about how your mind works.
