About this game
Sky Hop is a one-button flying game. A folded paper plane glides through a bright sky, and floating stone gates with grassy tops drift toward it. Each gate has a gap, and your job is to keep the plane level with it.
The plane is always sinking. A tap gives it a short lift, and it tilts up as it climbs and dips its nose as it falls. Small, regular taps keep it steady; a quick double tap lifts it fast. The art is in the timing between taps rather than in tapping often.
Every gate you pass scores a point. The gaps start generous and slowly get narrower, and the gates come a little faster, until both settle at a firm but fair limit. The next gap is never placed so far from the last one that the plane could not reach it in time.
The flight ends when the plane touches a gate, drops to the ground, or flies out of the top of the sky. On a computer, Space, W, or the up arrow also lifts the plane. If you switch tabs the game pauses, and your best flight is saved in this browser.
