How to play
- Pick a level, or press Start to continue where you left off.
- Move with the arrow keys, by swiping on the board, or with the arrow buttons.
- Walk into a crate to push it one square. You cannot pull crates or push two at once.
- Get every crate onto a glowing pad to clear the level. Undo takes back a step; Restart begins the level again.
About this game
Crate Push is a puzzle set in a tiny 3D warehouse. A worker stands among wooden crates, and the floor has glowing pads, one for each crate. You move the worker one square at a time, and walking into a crate pushes it ahead, as long as the square beyond it is free.
The catch is that crates only ever move away from you. A crate pushed into a corner can never come out again, and one pushed flat against a wall can only slide along it. So every level is really about order: which crate to move first, which side to push it from, and how to keep a path open for the next one.
The eleven levels were made for this game. Each room was built with its pads first, and then a search worked backwards from the finished position to find a starting layout that takes as many pushes as possible to solve. A test checks every level again and confirms the fewest pushes it needs. That number is shown as the par, and the message tells you when you match it.
Levels unlock one at a time, and your best move count for each solved level is kept in this browser, so you can come back and try to do better. Undo is unlimited, so feel free to experiment.
What this does not measure
This is a puzzle for fun. It does not measure intelligence or problem-solving ability, and needing many moves or undos says nothing about you.
